In Vitro International was established in February, 1995 as a proprietary concern by Dr. Seema Prakash, and was incorporated as In Vitro International Pvt. Ltd., in July, 1995, under the Companies Act, 1956, and is a flag-ship company of Shri Sai Ram Sri Hanuman Group (SSRSH Group). The group has a worldwide horticultural operation under the umbrella of Horti-Floritech International, and a Research Foundation known as ''Biotechnology and Eco-Development (BED) Research Foundation''.
